A number of people have always had this misconception that buses can be really uncomfortable for traveling long distances. It may be true to some extent as well in many countries. But the bus journeys to and fro from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore or from Singapore to Malacca are getting popular by the day. Here are a few reasons why:
- The buses carry less number of passengers and are mostly luxury and deluxe buses, so the leg room provided to the travelers is comparable to that of a first class flight.
- You shall also find that buses from Singapore to Malacca and on other routes for that matter like Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, they serve snacks and meals on the way just like a train or a flight.
- Some of the buses also have onboard toilets. If not, they all take a 15-20 minutes break. Apart from this, the journey mostly remains non-stop.
- Buses can be easily booked online and they are mostly available to suit your time and needs if you make a plan at the last minute. This is not the case with flights and trains where you have get bookings done in advance.
- Buses obviously provide a better sight-seeing option than any other mode of transport. So you definitely enjoy your journey more.
- Buses also suit your budget. They come out to be cheaper than traveling by flights or trains or even a taxi.
- Traveling by buses would mean you choose your own time of travel. They run more frequently than a flight or a train, so you are the in-charge of your itinerary.
- Traveling by bus from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and of course Singapore to Kuala Lumpur for that matter will take around the same time to reach the destination as the flight would. In the case of latter, you would have to rush to the airport two hours before the departure; which is not the case with buses.
